About Podamaa
Podamaa (Telugu: పోదామా) is the conversational form of "Shall we go?" — the exact question travellers ask themselves before any trip. The app exists to answer it honestly.
Why we built it
Photos online are seasonally biased. People plan trips based on monsoon-peak photos and arrive in summer to dry waterfalls. Podamaa checks live weather, recent news, and real traveller activity to tell you what each place actually looks like right now.
How predictions work
Rules decide. AI narrates. A small set of deterministic rules (e.g. 30-day rainfall > 100 mm for waterfalls) makes the actual call, and an AI model turns that call into a 3-sentence summary. We expose the confidence score so you can judge for yourself.
